Incontinence
More than half of all women will experience urinary leakage or other symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction during their lives. Unfortunately, only a fraction of these women will discuss their problems. Many women feel embarrassed discussing their symptoms, even with their health care providers. More women are discovering every day that they are not alone and effective treatments are available. You can get your life back to normal.

The Center for Continence and Pelvic Health at Evergreen is at the forefront of developing better ways to treat pelvic floor dysfunction. Urogynecology – a new subpecialty – provides expertise in both gynecology (women's reproductive health) and urology (diseases of the urinary tract). Urogynecologists work collaboratively with colleagues in urology, gynecology, colorectal surgery, radiology and physical therapy to evaluate and treat women with all types of pelvic floor dysfunction. (Check out one patient's experience with continence treatment.)
The Center is open Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
