A tax exempt non-profit organization dedicated to
raising financial support for Evergreen Healthcare
In 1967, the citizens of Redmond, Bothell, Kirkland and Woodinville voted to create King County Public Hospital District #2, which would provide hospital services to this growing region of northeast King County. In 1972, Evergreen Hospital opened...a small, two-story building with just 76 beds.
From this beginning, a 244 bed hospital has emerged with a state-of-the art emergency department and specialty care in many areas including Cancer, Cardiac, Orthopedics, Maternity and Neurosciences. Evergreen also is home to the only hospice center on the Eastside, in addition to providing home hospice care for both King and Snohomish counties.
Our Focus
The Foundation works with individuals, other foundations and corporations to support:
• New programs and initiative to expand healthcare on the Eastside
• The acquisition of new equipment helping Evergreen remain on the cutting edge of technology
• To underwrite health access and community health outreach and wellness programs
• To build new facilities for patient care and research

...for helping to raise $1.1 million at the 2008 Evergreen Gala. These funds will be used to expand Evergreen's comprehensive cancer center and purchase the Eastside's first mobile mammography unit.
