Benefit Opt Out
Eligible employees with other medical coverage are given the choice to opt out of the benefits package (with the exception of paid time off on some positions) for an increase in pay of 12% or 15%, depending on position.
Cafeteria/Deli Discount
All employees receive a 15% discount on food items upon presentation of an ID badge.
Flex Passes
Annual Metro/Sound Transit bus passes are available to all employees. Community Transit riders receive a monthly $36 or $54 voucher to apply towards the cost of their monthly bus pass. Organized carpoolers receive $30 vouchers monthly; organized vanpoolers receive a $54 voucher monthly. Eligible motorcyclists, walkers and bike riders receive a cash award of $20 on their paycheck.
Dependant Care Spending Account
Employees can set aside money on a pre-tax basis to pay for child care expenses (annual max $5,000). Evergreen pays the cost of administering the plan.
Health Care Spending Account
Employees can set aside money on a pre-tax basis to pay for out of pocket medical expenses (annual max of $5,000). Evergreen pays the cost of administering the plan.
EPC Pharmacy Discount
All employees and their immediate family members receive prescriptions and over the counter items at cost plus a minimal handling fee when purchased at the EPC Pharmacy.
