Eric Taylor, MD, FACR, FACRO, is a radiation oncologist who serves as Medical Director of Evergreen’s Radiation Oncology services. Dr Taylor has practiced at Evergreen for more than 25 years.
Dr Taylor received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University in 1974, then moved on to the University of Washington Medical School for both medical school and residency training, becoming board-certified in 1982. In 2000, Dr Taylor received national recognition as a “Fellow” in the American College of Radiology and in 2001, similar designation with American College of Radiation Oncology.
As medical director, Dr Taylor is responsible for the oversight of all staff and functions of the in Radiation Oncology. His goal is to ensure that the best clinical and technological radiation oncology services are always available to the Evergreen Community.
Dr Taylor has recently completed his term on the National Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Great West Division of the American Cancer Society. In 2008, Dr Taylor received the 2007 Lifetime Achievement Volunteer Award from the Susan G Komen for the Cure, Puget Sound Affiliate.
Dr Taylor’s medical interests consist of radiation oncology, patient /family cancer education, and meeting community needs through working with non-profit organizations.
