Chief Nursing Officer
Cheryl Nail is responsible for the planning, coordination and direction of nursing care and nursing practice at Evergreen Hospital.
Nail joined Evergreen in 2000 as a clinical nurse educator in the Family Maternity Center. She was named Director of Nursing in 2005, then promoted to the newly created position of Chief Nursing Officer the following year. Prior to Evergreen, Nail held nursing management positions at Stevens Hospital and Virginia Mason Medical Center.
She holds a Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, and served 10 years active duty in the United States Army as a combat medic, LPN, RN and Assistant Head Nurse. She is a member of several regional and national professional nursing organizations.
