Mary Jim Montgomery is responsible for all aspects of direct patient care at Evergreen, including diagnostic, inpatient and surgical care at Evergreen Hospital Medical Center.
Montgomery joined Evergreen Healthcare in January 2006, after serving five years as the Chief Operating Officer at Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Florida. Prior to that, she served in leadership positions with the Baptist Health System in Alabama.
Montgomery earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, and her Master's in Business Administration from Samford University, also in Birmingham. She is an active member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, the American College of Healthcare Executives and many other professional organizations, both national and regional
