If you and your doctor decide that same-day surgery is best for you, your doctor will call Evergreen Surgical Center to schedule a specific time for your procedure.
Evergreen Surgical Center is well-located and access is convenient. Complimentary parking is available on the 5th floor plaza entrance of the parking garage, with direct entry to the Center. You and your accompanying family member or friend will be greeted by our friendly staff in the reception area. The staff will help you with registration and ensure you are ready for surgery.
You'll be escorted to one of the comfortable, private preoperative admission rooms by one of our nurses. There, you will have an admission interview with the nurse and one of the Board Certified anesthesiologists. They will answer your questions and address any concerns you may have about anesthesia and surgery.
Your nurse will then escort you to one of our state-of-the-art surgical suites for your surgery. Leading-edge technology ensures that you will benefit from the most current standard of medical care available.
During your surgery, family or friends who have accompanied you can enjoy the convenience of our complimentary coffee bar, desks, computer data ports and telephones while they wait.
Following your procedure, you will be closely observed in the recovery room. There are no overnight facilities at Evergreen Surgical Center. In the rare event that you should require additional care, your doctor may choose to admit you to Evergreen Hospital Medical Center until you are ready to return home.
After fully awakening in the recovery room, you will then rest in the Departure Lounge where your relative or friend may be with you. When your anesthesiologist feels you are ready to leave, you may return home to be cared for by family or friends.
Children do especially well at the Evergreen Surgical Center because we are able to minimize separation between a child and his or her parents. Children enjoy our special pediatric room, with activities to keep them occupied while parents complete the admissions process.
