The Healthcare Access Program, in partnership with many community organizations, assists low income and uninsured residents of Evergreen’s Health District who face barriers in accessing affordable and quality health and social services. Our programs are supported by tax levy funds, and serve residents living in cities within King County Public Hospital District No. 2.
Whenever special needs arise as a result of aging, illness or disability, Information and Assistance social workers and nurses create a network of support from the many social and health services that exist in the community, enabling people to live as independently as possible.

Health Insurance Assistance
As part of a successful and continued partnership with Public Health Seattle & King County, our bilingual Spanish outreach worker is able to help people secure free or low cost health insurance. We participate in outreach events in the community, collaborating with churches, social workers, teachers, nurses, family support workers and community based organizations to help people access affordable health care services.
