Our Board certified emergency medicine physicians and our specially-trained staff in pediatric, trauma and advanced cardiac life support see more than 50,000 patients each year. They handle everything from broken bones and sudden illness to life-threatening emergencies.
New Emergency Department
Evergreen's new state-of-the-art Emergency Department opened in May 2007. It is equipped with 28 private acute treatment rooms, all with full cardiac monitoring, and four trauma rooms. A separate Rapid Assessment Area provides ten private rooms for treatment of less serious illness and injury. The Emergency Department is backed by the full resources of Evergreen Hospital Medical Center, including surgical suites, laboratory and pharmacy and one of the most advanced diagnostic imaging centers in the region. In addition, Evergreen’s hospitalists and on-call specialists are always available to consult and can provide specialized expertise when needed.
Family-centered Care
Evergreen's philosophy of family-centered care extends into the ED, where our private rooms offer plenty of space and accomodations for family members to remain with the patient during treatment. Our spacious waiting room provides Wi-Fi internet access, a refreshment center and comfortable seating for up to 60 people.
Urgent Care
For after hours care of non-emergency illness and accidents, Evergreen operates Urgent Care centers in Redmond and Woodinville.
