DBS Comprehensive Program
This program is tailored to the needs of patients who live at a distance from our Center.
The DBS Comprehensive Program offers individualized evaluations for patients considering Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) or patients with DBS All patients are evaluated by a neurologist specialized in movement disorders and a nationally recognized DBS programmer and educator. When indicated, patients will see other members of our specialty team, including a physical therapist, occupational therapist, neuropsychologist, social worker and speech/swallowing specialist.
After your visit, you and your physician will receive a summary of our evaluation and recommendations. If additional programming is needed, a detailed plan will be sent to your local programmer.
We evaluate patients with Parkinson’s disease, tremor, dystonia and any patient with existing Deep Brain Stimulation.
