DeYoung Pavilion opens in July 2009
The newest addition to the Evergreen Hospital campus is the DeYoung Pavilion.
This five-story building houses a Sound Transit hub on the first floor, medical offices and ample underground parking. It's third floor is home to the Evergreen Neuroscience Institute, and the second floor houses Evergreen Rehabilitation Services and the Cardiovascular Health & Wellness Center.
The building's name honors the DeYoung family, wihch has been instrumental in helping Evergreen grow and meet the needs of its community through countless hours of service and generous financial contributions. Commissioner Al DeYoung has served on Evergreen's Board of Commissioners in 1980. He was also a founding member of the Evergreen Healthcare Foundation and continues to serve on its Board of Trustees, as does his daughter Lucy DeYoung.

Al and Donna DeYoung received a framed rendering of the building that will bear their name.
