Families are important to our patients' recovery, and we encourage you to visit with your loved one. From the time you drive into our parking structures – free of charge – to the time you spend at the patient’s bed side, it is our goal to provide you with the amenities and consideration you require to make your visit its most positive.
Smoking
We are pleased to offer a tobacco- and smoke-free environment on the Evergreen Hospital campus, at our primary care clinics and at our hospice center.
Smoking is not allowed inside our facilities, on the grounds outside or in cars parked in our parking garages. Smokers must utilize the public sidewalks that ring the campus.

Our patient and family-centered care welcomes visitors at all times, except in certain restricted areas, based on patient preferences. Please check at the information desks for patient room numbers and directions.

Surgery Waiting Areas
If you are with someone who is having surgery at Evergreen Hospital, you will be asked to wait in the Surgery Waiting Area on 3-Blue. The staff at the Surgery Information Desk will keep you informed, and your physician will meet or call you there when the surgery is over.
The outpatient Evergreen Surgical Center has its own Surgery Waiting Area.
Wireless Internet
Wi-Fi Internet access is available throughout all patient and visitor areas of Evergreen Hospital, including patient rooms. The wireless network will work with any 802.11b compatible network card on any device running Microsoft XP.
Please note there are a few areas within the hospital where the wireless network is not available because it would interfere with medical devices.
