Evergreen Hospice and Palliative Care volunteers provide practical, social, and spiritual support to individuals living with a terminal illness, and their families. Our volunteers are able to serve patients in their own communities throughout all of King and Snohomish counties or at our inpatient hospice center.
The most valuable skill an end-of-life volunteer can offer is the ability to be a compassionate presence. They help increase the quality of life by offering comfort care and companionship to patients, and respite and emotional support to their family system.
