A life-long resident of the Northshore area, Commissioner DeYoung has been involved in community affairs since elected to the Northshore School District board of directors in 1968. He is active in many community organizations, including the Northshore Kiwanis, Woodinville Chamber of Commerce, the Woodinville Downtown Property Owners Association and the Northshore Planning Committee.
Jeanette Greenfield

Jeanette Greenfield was a 14-year participant in Evergreen's Community Advisors program before being appointed to fill a Board vacancy. Commissioner Greenfield earned her MBA in 1987, and is an Operations Specialist for U. S. Bank. She was appointed by the King County Executive to the King County Children as Family Commission and is a Board member for the Eastside Human Services Forum.
Rebecca Hirt

Represents Kirkland/Kenmore
Board member since 1988
A resident of the Kirkland area for more than 30 years, Rebecca Hirt worked part-time at Evergreen Hospital Medical Center as a medical technologist before joining the Board. She earned her MBA in 1990, and is active in community parks and land use issues, and with the local chapter of the American Association of University Women. She is also Trustee Chair for Region 9 of the American Hospital Association's committee on governance.
R. August Kempf

Prior to becoming a Commissioner, Auggie Kempf was a 10-year participant in Evergreen's Community Advisors program. He has also served on the Evergreen Healthcare Foundation Board of Trustees since 1996. Commissioner Kempf is president of Kempf and Company, an insurance, investment and financial planning firm. He is a past president of the Redmond Chamber of Commerce, and is actively involved in several other community organizations.
Rex Lindquist

Rex Lindquist was a 12-year participant in Evergreen's Community Advisors program before joining the Board. He is a long-time resident of Kirkland, and retired as Deputy Fire Chief after 26 years. He currently provides public safety and EMS consulting services. Community activities include youth baseball, the Leadership Institute, Kirkland Downtown on the Lake, the Moss Bay Historical Society.
