The Evergreen Breast Center features the advanced technology of digital mammography, which has revolutionized the detection of breast cancer. Breast images go right to a computer, where they can be enhanced to allow for more precise readings.
Complementing the advanced technology is the warm surroundings and relaxing environment at the Breast Center, which provide the utmost in patient comfort and privacy. The waiting room incorporates a Resource Center with internet access, and a private area for viewing tapes on breast self-exam. The dressing area provides private, locked storage for clothing and valuables. Exam rooms provide the best in patient comfort and leading edge technology. If a problem is found, immediate referrals can be made to other members of the Evergreen Healthcare medical team for continued treatment. If a surgical consultation is necessary, the radiologist at the Breast Center will arrange the appointment with an Evergreen-affiliated surgeon located right on campus.
