Billing for health care services is complicated, and we are committed to helping you understand your Evergreen bill.
Each visit will be billed individually. Many of the providers involved in your care (physicians, laboratories, ambulance companies, etc) are separate businesses with their own billing and accounting procedures. They will send you a bill for their services.
For example, if you visit your primary care provider and they send you to Evergreen Hospital for a CT scan, your care will generate four billings – two for your primary care visit, one for the CT scan and one for the professional services of the radiologist who reads your scan.
